Hello From Me
I’m Hannah Cambridge, an illustrator and potter based in Wick, Scotland. From my high street studio, I create vibrant, watercolour artwork inspired by local wildlife, landscapes, and like to add a little Scottish folk magic. Alongside my illustrations, I craft unique ceramic pieces that blend functionality as hand painted pieces. My passion is capturing the essence of place and connection through my work, whether it’s a postcard, a piece of pottery, or a custom commission. My studio is open to visitors, where you can browse my creations and see where the magic happens!

Fun Fact: I've painted using watercolour since I could remember, my grandad taught me when I was 3 onwards and I've always loved the medium 27 years later.
My Studio Story
In 2021 I was desperate, like most creatives building a business from their kitchen table or spare rooms, for space. I had absolutely no space in our house, nothing was suitable without using every single bedroom, I was also running local workshops for all ages around community halls and hated that there wasn't a single comfy, cozy, creative space I could teach workshops in, So I went out in to the scary World and asked about, tried to find somewhere within budget that was also big enough for my needs, I came across a lovely shop with massive windows straight on the High Street, It was a dream, until we found black mould under the flooring, under the wall displays and holes in the ground, I handed the keys back that night and was absolutely heartbroken, until we spoke to another buisness woman called morag who just so happened to have a small space above her cafe, it was perfect. And here we are 3 years later, up the stairs but loving my space more every single day.
