Illustration Portfolio

Hello and a huge welcome to my portfolio, my name is Hannah Cambridge and I've been an Illustrator for 5 years. I live in Caithness, Scotland which is so far north, we are closer to the Orkney Island's than a McDonalds. Due to this my work is very much nature inspired, I work with mainly traditional watercolour's but I do have a background in CGI Animation, so I do work in digital design and graphic design work too.

Editorial Illustration - Graphic Design - Packaging

UpCircle Digital Illustration

I created a Info-graphic, email campaign and reel for this London based cosmetic brand.

Rock Rose Gin - Label Illustration and Design

I worked with Rock Rose Gin, a Highlands based distillery to produce a Jam Doughnut inspired gin, the client wanted there to be a cozy feel to this label as it was released during the colder season, I wanted to give the feeling of a cozy sunday morning doughnut in hand with the local paper. This was the fastest selling bottle out of their whole creative collection with 5 other bottles, selling out in 48 hours.

The Blue Door - Thurso Based American Restaurant

The Blue Door asked me to illustrate a design they could get printed in to a full colour window decal.

Whyte & Mackay - 2 Projects

I was asked by Whyte & Macay to design large scale banners to be printed for their meeting rooms, I was also asked to red-esign their Take 5 Safety Manual.

Wick Heart / Highland Council

Asked me to design a large scale map to be printed for 2 locations to help improve the town and help the tourists understand their whereabouts.

Sustrans Scotland - Ongoing

Sustrans Scotland asked me to develop 3 large scale illustrations to be cut out in to metal sheets as a way to upgrade the local lanes.

Puffin - Print

A hugely popular illustration I painted to sell in my studio, constantly sells out and just a delighful little piece.

Simply Bliss Bridal

A local business asked me to design a number of illustrations for their own dress launch.

Beyond The Mist - Book Cover

The collective of writrs asked me to develop a book cover using a work of art I'd already painted as a print, this is a mock up.

Various Graphic Design / Animation

Over the years I've done various graphic Design / Animation / Branding projects for small businesses and my own branding.

Castles - Ongoing

I've been painting all of the Scottish castles as my ongoing personal project to create prints to sell in my open studio.

Bottoms Up - Products

I design, illustrate and send to print all of the products housing my bricks and mortor High Street shop / open studio, this is just one of hundreds of products I've created.

Wedding Satationery

I also design stationery for weddings and funerals, this includes having a good knowledge in graphic design and digital design.

Wildflower / Berries Project

This was a project I created a few years ago, it was my first solo exhibition, I painted 30 pieces all inspired by the Scottish wildflowers and berries.

Puzzle'n Prints

I designed the puzzle and packaging to sell n my open studio, a very popular product and I LOVEd designing the packaging, it opened the world of packaging design up for me.

Bat Illustration - Bat Walks

A local bat tour business asked me to paint a bat illustration for their social's, printed stationery and to have as a print.

Editorial - JoG Journal - Personal Piece

I saw this story in the local newspaper and I couldn't help myself.

Personal Commissions

I've painted over 200 personal commissions in just the last 3 years, anything from pets, children and lost loved ones to boats and bouquets.

Lemon Socks

Another product I designed and sold in my open studio shop & Wholesale.

Bird Info Prints

I designed and illustrated over 20 bird info cards to be made as prints and postcards for the local RSBP branch, I sold the same prints in my shop and through wholesale around Scotland.
